Kate Bosworth’s Wedding Dress

On the 30th of August Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish enjoyed their intimate wedding ceremony with their closest friends and family at the Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, Massachusetts

Bosworth chose an ivory radzimir satin strapless ball gown with a sweeping long train for the ceremony but for the reception, Kate changed into a floral embroidered tulle dress with scalloped cap sleeves. Both gowns were custom designed by Oscar de la Renta.

I love the dress because when you see the front, it feels so minimal then when you turn around there’s just this dramatic sort of glorious fall of the fabric,’ the actress explains in the interview with Vogue magazine.

‘It looks like it has weight and a heaviness to it, but yet it feels light as air, there’s just so much poetry and elegance to it. The veil is actually a cathedral length veil, traditionally a cathedral length veil moves even further past the end of the dress, but we proportioned it to the dress. In my opinion Oscar is the most legendary designer ever. He has such a great mark on American elegance, and I’m such an admirer of his work. There is no one else for me.” Kate Says
