The First Gown Designed by Oscar de la Renta

One of the first gowns of the  Oscar de la Renta was commissioned in 1956 by Beatriz Lodge, the daughter of United States ambassador to Spain, John Davis Lodge. The young designer created a romantic white tulle dress with two layers.
