1- How does the collaboration with Farah Novias started? Why did you decide to start designing bridal dresses?
Farah Novias is an exclusive designer bridal boutique who is presenting the collection for the first time in Spain. We liked their intimate, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Farah personally selects the range of dresses which reflects the varying requirements of her Spanish and expatriate brides from a simple and informal look through to a glamorous and sophisticated style, always with undisputable quality and details. Far from the philosophy of masses she finds the most suitable dress for each bride with a very personalized attention.
2- Do you reflect the same trends you present in the new york runway show in your bridal collection?
Absolutely. I always try to use the main concepts of the runway gowns in designing the bridal collection, with a special twist that makes the dress different from the evening collection.
3- How do you define the Carolina Herrera bride?
Sophisticated. Romantic. Innocent and Chic.
4- What was the inspiration behind designing this bridal collection?
The Spring 2012 Bridal Collection is made of lovely pleasures for a woman on one of the most important days of her life. Herrera looked no further than the women who wear her clothes for inspiration, adding delicate flourishes to the relaxed chic that has made her gowns adored by brides around the world.

Traditional fabrics with surprising choices such as a duchess satin, silk tulle, mikado and silk chiffon
