The Carolina Herrera Bridal Collection Fall 2015

The Fall 2015 Carolina Herrera bridal collection is focused on romance, feminity and fantasy. When it comes to expressing elegance and sensuality Carolina Herrera thinks in details; handmade flower appliqués and embellishments on Chantilly lace and nude sheer materials add an element of illusion to her romantic collection.

Vera Wang Spring 2015 Bridal Collection

The Vera Wang Spring 2015 bridal collection was Vera at her finest. Vera achieved a seductive and dramatic bridal look by releasing a short video instead of a live runway show. In a press release she explains that her intention is to reach a wider audience than she could with a catwalk presentation

“The opportunity to create a visual and expressive experience of the clothes, as interpreted by my fashion vision, is a whole new way for me to communicate with not only brides, but women everywhere,” she said. “In this instance, bridal becomes the artistic vehicle to advance my love of fashion in general. I hope you will enjoy this new experience.”

The lightness of being, delicate and discipline, sensual and seductive were the inspirations for the 2015 collection. The Vera Wang bride is as romantic as ever this season -princess and mermaid silhouettes as well as simpler column dress in lace and embroidered tulle. Overall the collection is the perfect blend of seductive beauty with a hint of mysterious elegance.

The Anne Barge Fall 2014 Bridal collection brings us a vintage feel that has been a trend in bridal fashion for quite a while now. Beautiful laces and delicate embroideries on layers of organza are wrapped around feminine silhouettes and draped bodice.
Inspired by the Hollywood in the thirties the designer explains in an interview with the October 14 issue of The Daily Bridal Magazine how she has named the collection after famous ballets. What’s the story behind these frocks?
The layered pastel chiffons, laces, and tulles made me think of Degas’ dancers. Then I got inspired by ballerinas, so we named each dress after a famous ballet.Have you ever done ballet?
Let’s just say I was not very good!

The last few looks were very glamorous!
That’s our Black Label collection based on Hollywood in the Thirties. It’s glitzy!

How long did it take to bead the Garbo dress?
Around 1,800 hours!
