 What is the mission of Farah Novias and what makes your bridal boutique unique? 

We want our brides not only to feel special in the bridal gowns we offer, but to enjoy the magnificent experience of finding and choosing their dream wedding dress. All our bridal collections are exclusive, which means you wont be able to find them at any other bridal boutique in Spain 

 

 How do you decide on which designers to carry? 

Our goal is to chose bridal designers that are not only recognised throughout the bridal industry but are leaders in the fashion world. We look for designers that are incredibly innovative and have the ability to create custom-made couture wedding gowns for our brides without ever physically meeting them. 

 

 How informed are the brides when they come in for an appointment? 

Most brides use social media for all kinds of ideas and inspirations on how to choose their wedding dress. Almost all our brides track down their designer dream dress after finding it on our website or Instagram page.

How has internet changed the wedding dress shopping?

The Internet has hugely transformed the wedding industry as most of wedding- planning is now online and potential brides-to-be have a much bigger range of wedding dresses and brands to choose from. The internet has helped brides come a lot more prepared to their appointments and it has helped us reach more brides globally. We have noticed, however that a lot of times even though you think a certain look might be perfect for you, it’s a whole different story when you actually try on the dresses. We have had so many brides who after helping them choose their perfect dress have said to us ‘I never thought this would be the style for me, but I love it’, and thats where are expertise comes in. 

 

 What are the latest trends in bridal fashion? 

All of our designer collections speak to every type of personality and wedding destination. From the minimalistic and more relaxed bride to the playful princess type bride, we explore every prominent fashion trend from the 2022 bridal collections. However, if we had to to choose some of the top trends of 2022 they would be square neck-lines, puffy sleeves and bohemian dresses.

 

 What do you like most about running a bridal boutique? 

Creating the perfect and most memorable buying experience for our brides is what I cherish and enjoy most. The look on a bride’s face when we find her the perfect dress is something that is truly magical and makes every bit of my work worth it. We also always share a very special bond with all of our brides as we always keep in touch with them after their wedding day, which for me is really beautiful.

You  must be very excited to be able to offer Carolina Herrera, Vera Wang and Oscar de la Renta dresses for the first time in Spain?

Yes, I am very excited to be able to offer the Spanish bride the bridal collections  designed by two of the most recognised international designers. Carolina Herrera as a woman is a symbol of elegance, glamor and sophistication and her dresses have been worn by many women in the world. Vera Wang is the pionear in designing glamorous and elegant dream wedding dresses. She always combines elements of trends and fashion that are the perfect blend of tradition and beauty, with avant-garde touches.

What are the key elements of your latest bridal collections?

The 2012 bridal collection is presented for sophisticated brides, inspired by romantic styles with touches that accentuate the more feminine side of the bride. There are a lot of flowing and smooth lines, lace embroidery and delicate bows or sashes. Romantic dresses inspired by French gardens with cotton tulles, French lace and hand embroidered organza skirts  that are perfect for the brides who are looking for a modern gown with the traditional elegance.

What is your philosophy and what do you offer the Spanish bride?

I want to offer brides and my clients the opportunity not only to feel perfect in their dress but to enjoy the feeling of being very special when deciding to choose a dress from one of our designers for such an important occasion, and this desire is reflected totally in the warm welcome that awaits them in the store.

At Farah Novias we have an intimate, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. After 25 years working in the bridal world, I have the essential experience to be able to advise the bride in creating her ideal ‘look’, including accessories. We like to give our brides a personalised attention so that they have the opportunity to try our designer bridal gowns at an affordable prices that is attracting customers from all over Spain.
